What are External Hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids are one of the most painful and embarrassing condition one can have. In simple terms, hemorrhoids are blood vessels around the anal area that have become swollen due to a myriad of factors. When they become swollen and protrude outside the anus, they become external hemroids.

What Causes External Hemroids?

There are many factors that cause external Hemorrhoids. One of them is constipation which causes one to strain during bowel movement. This puts pressure on the veins around the anal area causing them to weaken and enlarge resulting in painful hemorrhoids.
